Have the trip of your life in Mexico and even reach Guatemala! On this 19-day tour you will see both Colonial cities and amazing prehispanic ruins. The journey will take you to the Colonial jewels of Queretaro, Guadalajara, Morelia and Guanajuato, beside visiting the archaeological sites of Tzintzuntzan, La Quemada, Teotihuacan, Palenque, Bonampak and even the mighty Tikal in Guatemala!

Day 1: Welcome to Queretaro

Reception at the airport or bus station. During the afternoon you will have a trolley tour through downtown; you will pass through special landmarks such as the Corregidora House, the main square, the Alameda Park and the Republica Theater.


Day 2: Queretaro

Time to discover the wine and cheese route in Queretaro. You will visit the countryside of the state, including a farm that produces artisan cheese, and then La Redonda Winery.

Day 3: San Miguel de Allende-Guanajuato

On this day you will visit San Miguel de Allende, one of the most beautiful Colonial cities in Mexico. Then, you’ll stop at the town where the Mexican Independence begun, Dolores Hidalgo.

Day 4: Guanajuato

Free morning. During the afternoon you will take a trolley tour to see the best places of Guanajuato and when the night falls, you will join a Callejoneada to walk the alleys in downtown along with musicians.

Day 5: Guanajuato

A visit to the Mummies Museum; due to the minerals in the cemetary grounds, the bodies remained in almost perfect conditions and became a worldwide legend. Then, you will enter the Valenciana Mine and visit one of the most beautiful churches in the country.

Day 6: Guanajuato-Zacatecas

You will arrive to Zacatecas in the afternoon, and have a tour to the Eden Mine, a fantastic place with halls and even a train. If the weather allows it, you will take the aerial tramway to reach the top of the Bufa Mountain and have a wonderful view of the city.

Day 7: Zacatecas-La Quemada & Jerez

A day to visit La Quemada prehispanic ruins, the most important site in the central-north Mexico region. Then you will stop at the Jerez Magic Town.

Day 8: Zacatecas-Guadalajara

After breakfast, you will be taken to Guadalajara. where you will have a city tour to see landmarks like the Cathedral, the Minerva Fountain, the Arcs Monument and the Culture House. Free afternoon.



Day 9: Guadalajara-Tequila

A special visit to the town of Tequila where you will have a city tour and a tequila tasting. You will learn about the process of making tequila, plus admiring the landscape full of agaves.

Day 10: Guadalajara-Morelia

After breakfast, you will head to Morelia. Once there, you’ll have a city tour to visit the aqueduct, the Cathedral, and some of the beautiful churches, among others.

Day 11: Morelia-Patzcuaro-Mexico City

This day you will visit the nearby town of Patzcuaro, including the Janitzio Island in the middle of the lake, the town of Quiroga and the Tzintzuntzan prehispanic ruins. Afterwards, you will be taken to Mexico City for overnight.

Day 12: Mexico City-Palenque

You will take your flight to Villahermosa or Palenque before noon. Transfer to the Palenque archaeological site and during the afternoon, you will be taken to your hotel.



Day 13: Palenque-Flores

After breakfast, you will get to Guatemala and head to Flores. Free afternoon.

Day 14: Tikal

Time to visit the majestic Tikal; the place has over 500 square kilometers of extension and is home for hundreds of birds, monkeys and jaguars.

Day 15: Flores-Palenque

At 5:00 am you will head to the boarder between Guatemala and Mexico. On your way to Palenque you will stop at Yaxchilan and Bonampak, two impressive Mayan ruins in Chiapas.

Day 16: Trip to Mexico City

After breakfast, you will visit the Los Aluxes Zoo, a preservation area. Then, you will be taken to Palenque or Villahermosa Airport for your trip back to Mexico City.

Day 17: Mexico City

In the morning you will have a city tour through downtown and in the afternoon you will be taken to Xochimilco and board a typical Trajinera to discover the beauty of the place.

Day 18: Mexico City-Teotihuacan

After breakfast, you will be taken to one of the most impressive archaeological sites in Mexico, Teotihuacan. Walk the avenue of the dead and climb the Sun Pyramid.

Day 19: Returning Home

Free morning. You will be taken to the airport for your trip back home.
