Reserve a fantastic trip for 13 days through the Colonial cities in Mexico. In this journey you will visit the towns of Queretaro and Guanajuato, beside staying in Zacatecas, Guadalajara and Morelia. There will be dozens of villages and landmarks to visit and take pictures of them!

Day 1: Welcome to Queretaro

Reception at the airport or bus station. During the afternoon you will have a trolley tour through downtown. You can also walk the alleys in the night or take a walking tour by your own where an actor will told you some of the legends in Queretaro.


Day 2: Queretaro-Wine & Cheese Route

After breakfast, you will visit a cheese factory where they elaborate products with old techniques, beside milking their own cows. Afterwards, you will be taken to the La Redonda Winery to learn about their products and how the wines aged.

Day 3: Guanajuato-Independence Route

The trip starts heading to Dolores Hidalgo, the very place where the Mexican Independence begun. In here you will also visit the Jose Alfredo Jimenez Museum, perhaps the most popular of the Mexican composers. Afterwards, the town of Atotonilco awaits with its beautiful church. Then, you will have a tour through San Miguel de Allende, one of the most beautiful colonial villages in the country.

Day 4: Guanajuato-San Luis Potosi

Trip to San Luis Potosi. Free afternoon.

Day 5: Guanajuato

A special visit to the Mummies Museum will take place. Then, you will enter the Valenciana Mine and visit one of the most beautiful churches in the country. Afterwards, you will visit the Inquisition Museum, a house with a hidden basement discovered about 40 years ago which was a torture chamber during the Colonial Era.

Day 6: Guanajuato-Zacatecas

You will arrive Zacatecas during the afternoon, and you will visit the beautiful Eden Mine. If the weather is good, you will take the aerial tramway to reach the top of the Bufa Mountain.

Day 7: Zacatecas-La Quemada & Jerez

This day you will visit the La Quemada Archaeological Site with its game ball and the Votiva pyramid. Then you will stop at the Jerez Magic Town.

Day 8: Zacatecas-Guadalajara

After breakfast, you will head to Guadalajara. Once there, you will have a city tour to see the most important landmarks in town. Free afternoon.



Day 9: Guadalajara-Tequila

A special visit to the town of Tequila where you will have a city tour and then a visit to the Colina de la Cruz, ending with a tequila tasting.

Day 10: Guadalajara-Morelia

After breakfast, you will hit the road and head to Morelia. Once there, you’ll have a city tour to visit the aqueduct, the viewpoint, the Cathedral and the Roses Conservatory, among others.

Day 11: Morelia-Patzcuaro

A full day tour to the outskirts of Morelia. First, you will stop at Quiroga, a village with artisans creating pieces out of wood and leather. Then, you will stop at Tzintzuntzan, a unique archaeological site. Afterwards, you will arrive to the first capital city of the state of Michoacan, Patzcuaro; in here you will visit the isle of Janitzio in the middle of the lake, then the main square called Vasco de Quiroga and other highlights.

Day 12: Morelia-Convent Route

A day to follow the Convent Route that will lead you to the San Francisco Convent in Tarimbaro, built in the 16th Century. Then you will visit the towns of Yuridia, Moroleón and Cuitzeo.

Day 13: Returning Home

Free morning. You will be taken to the airport or bus station for your trip back home.
