The tour begins at a ranch in the outskirts of San Miguel de Allende. The journey begins with a briefing with safety instructions and how to ride a horse, if it’s your first time.
For about two and a half hours, you will descend in the canyon until you reach the river. The guide will give you some time to rest and walk for a while, there are plenty of geodes and quartz in the river banks. Beside, you can admire a beautiful uncatalogued Capilla de Indios, an ancient chapel built during the Colonial Era.
On the way back to the ranch, you will witness awesome landscapes, you must have your camera at hand! Finally, a typical ranch-style meal from Mexico awaits for you, with guacamole, handmade tortillas, fresh cheese, and some salsa!
