Book now a tour from Tuxtla Gutierrez and visit the mysterious Palenque. The journey is quite long and starts at 5:00 am. On your way to Palenque, you’ll pass through Ocosingo to have breakfast.
Afterwards, you’ll head to the Agua Azul Waterfalls to spend about 1:30 hours there. The turquoise waters of the falls are fantastic and you can take amazing pictures of there. Then, the Misol-Ha waterfall awaits; bring a raincoat or a change of clothes, walking behind the waterfall is incredible and you it shouldn’t be skipped.
Once in Palenque, you can either walk the area by yourself or hire a tourist guide outside. Experience the majesty of this great Mayan site, and take dozens of pictures. Note that sometimes it’s hard to go upstairs, but it worths the effort.
About at 6:00 pm you’ll start the return back to Tuxtla Gutierrez. If you are planning to stay in Palenque, include your petition in the notes.
