The best way to get deep into the colors of Rio de Janeiro is by taking a city tour. Later you can come back to the places you liked the most. In this tour you’ll start in the Sao Bento Monastery, built in 1617 and fully operational nowadays.
Afterwards, you’ll head to the Candelaria Church in downtown. Then, you’ll see some great spots such as the France-Brazil House which is home to a Cultural Center sponsored by the Brazilian Central Bank, beside visiting the Municipal Theater, the National Library, the Congress Building, and the Fine Arts Museum.
