The first stop on this trip to the Mayan past in Yucatan is the magnificent archaeological site of Uxmal in the south of Merida. Here, you will see up close the Stelaes Platform, the Ball Court, the Temple of the Adivino and the famous Nunnery, named after its resemblance to a convent.
Kabah is the next stop and the Puuc style can be appreciated in its ruins. Here is located the entrance to Sac-Be, the white roads used by the ancient Mayans to travel at night. After some time here, you will return to Uxmal to have lunch and later you will return to beautiful Merida.
